Choi Min-ho, better known by the mononym Minho, is a South Korean singer, actor, songwriter ,rapper. He debuted as a member of South Korean boy group Shinee in May 2008.
Childhood & Education
Minho father is Choi Yun-Kyum.He is a
well-known soccer coach, and as a result, he was fascinated with the game of
soccer, throughout childhood.
He started school, he
continued playing soccer, but his father soon realized that his son was not fit
enough to play the sport. The reason was his small frame and less speed,
compared to that of an average soccer player. Minho eventually gave up on the
dream and started concentrating on his studies.

his obsession with show business became evident. This interest led him to work
on his looks, and he immediately started trying his luck as a model.
Later, he joined the
arts and culture film major program at the prestigious Konkuk University and
honed his skills further.

Minho was discovered
at the SM Casting System in 2006 and modeled for Ha
Sang-beg's Seoul Collection F/W 08–09 in March 2008.

Minho appeared in both the Korean and Japanese versions of Girls' Generation's music video "Gee
In 2010, Minho made
his acting debut in the KBS2's drama special, entitled Pianist with actress Han
Ji-hye.
In early 2016, Minho
extended his popularity as an actor. He was cast in several projects, including
a historical Korean drama entitled Hwarang: the Poet Warrior
Youth, which was aired on December 19, 2016 on KBS2.
Personal Life
Minho was rumored to
have been in a relationship with Sulli, an ex-member of the girl group ‘f(x).’
He is also said to have dated Yuri, another musician from the band ‘Girl’s
Generation.’ There has not been any confirmation though, as Choi likes to keep
his private life hidden from the media and his followers.

It has not been long since netizens last mentioned SHINee‘s MinHo since his entrance in the marine corps
for his mandatory military service.
