Personal Taste also known as Personal Preference is a
2010 South Korean television series
Main Role
It is adapted from Lee Se-in's 2007 novel
of the same name about a furniture designer, Park Kae-in, who lives together
with architect Jeon Jin-ho under the mistaken assumption that he's gay.
It
aired on MBC from March 31 to May 20, 2010 on Wednesdays and
Thursdays at 21:55 (KST) time slot for 16 episodes.
Park Ke-in (Son Ye-Jin) Kindness,
impulsiveness and chaos are a part of her personal habits. She is a lazy girl.
She is an architect and the daughter of the famous architect Park Chul-Han.
After her ex-boyfriend throws her out, she easily decides not to open up for
love again.
She lives in a renovated Hanok house in
Sangoje (meaning "a place for mutual love"). (Traditional Korean
house), designed by her father (Kang Shin-il), a well-known and isolated
architectural professor. As an independent furniture designer she strives to
produce successful products and constantly strives to impress her father with
her works.
Her longtime boyfriend Han Chong-riul (Kim Ji-sek) breaks up with her. Han Chong-riul is Jeon Jin-ho's rival and Ke-in's ex-boyfriend. Although he initially left K-in for her friend In-hee, he later rekindles his feelings for K-in. In-hee is a greedy woman. Have multiple lovers and treat them as people who can share.
Although Kei-in has been best friend for ten years, she betrays him and falls in love with Chang-riul. Later, In-hee falls for Jin-ho and tries to steal him from Ke-in. Jeon Jin-ho is an architect who is eager to keep his small company afloat. He travels to Sangoje to study it for his next project.
He discovers that
Kay's ideas are creative and hires her to design an entertainment center for
children. Do-Bin, a homosexual, is then attracted to Jin-ho, which puts Jin-ho
in a tight spot.
What happens when a
man who pretends to be gay and a woman who thinks he is gay develop feelings
for each other?

The
series was moderately popular in Korea and its foreign rights were sold to the
Philippines, Japan, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand. The
series aired on the cable channel KNTV from March 31, 2010 in Japan and aired
on TBS from February 16, 2012. Was broadcast on.
The series aired on ABS-CBN in the Philippines from November 8, 2010 to January 7, 2011 under the title Perfect Match.
It aired in Mandarin on 8TV Malaysia and NTV7 with Malay subtitles.
It aired on Channel 7 in Thailand every Saturday and Sunday from March 5, 2011 at 9:15 am.
It aired on MBC 4 in the Middle East from February 16, 2014.
